I ain't built any of these kits Tp, but by the looks of it this will be a cracking dio. Master Box are supposed to be great, but that's only hear say, perhaps you have already used them ? and I'm trying too teach my Grandmother how too suck eggs. Laughing
You can sure pump out these dio's, just wish I was as up too speed as you. Wink
Looking forward to this one Tp.

I have done a few of the master box set's BB and  at times i have found them to be a bit hit and miss ,some times there just great and some times they can be a bit of a let down,But at there prices of about 5 quid for the figures you can not go wrong.the most expensive one i have will use will be the cart at 12 quid,It's the mini art farm building i am worried about vac formed only my 2nd attempt, the first one was a bit of a shock to the eyes  Embarassed   Laughing

Nice looking selection of kits there TP looks like it's going to be one hell of a dio,so your setting it just after d-day in Normandy i guess by the name ?
Looking forward to seeing this one come together you going for a dry dusty look with this one ? As if i am right June was hot and dusty with the rain starting in July turning every thing to mud i think but not sure.Any idea on a tank crew yet ?
That farm yard looks good be nice to see how you bring that to life mk35 do some great little bits for farm yards i think.with what your putting into it looks like it will be bigger than a usual picture frame mate.

Yes mate just after D day i am not going to rush this one in any way shape or form i have a plan for the first time ever  Laughing. It will be a dry dusty look to it.i'v visited mk 35 already mate found some great little bits on it which i could quit easily use.As for the tank crew not sure yet Alex i was thinking of going for the one were they are sat about having a brew in pixie souts but not sure.the use of the buildings as made me enlarge it a bit more than my normal size so i am going for this bit of the display cabinet,

So it's just under twice the size as normal so should take me a month or two  Mad

First things first though i am starting off with the Cromwell this one in fact.

Hoping it will end up looking like this one i just love how the cam net round and on the turret has raily taken the shape of it out of your eye sight and hidden it in the back ground foliage.

So that the start guys as usual feed back and advise more than welcome keep me going please  Laughing

Also if you come across any pics that would be of use to me ref farmyards ect please post them for me.

Not managed much at all over the past week with work, wife and food poisoning so things are slow and well behind with this one,all i have managed to get done is get the hull and turret done and given a basic paint so not happy a all. Mad

But the good news is every thing i ordered as turned up and a added this lot from reality in scale as well.

x2

So every thing i need is now here apart from the time to sit down and model, now how bloody down right sodding upsetting is that. Evil or Very Mad  Embarassed I need a latte. Embarassed

falling flat on my face with the hessian stripped cam net around the turret, just can not get it right in any way shape or form, even spent time on the net looking for a resin one found it, looked perfect but only in 1/48th  Evil or Very Mad .
So if any one knows of a 1/35th please please leave me a link.

Found this one TP,don't think it looks as good as the one your after though.I would stick with it and go though the how to we have in the forum until you have it sorted right  Very Happy

Try just masking tape and have a little bit of netting here and there showing though it might work.there seems to be more hessian than net on that pic you posted.

Thanks Alex i stuck with it and did a bit of thinking after reading your post and going though the how to,this is what i managed to do with it.

All it is is hundreds of little bits of masking tape stuck on to the turret starting at the bottom and working up,with a liitle bit of cam net thrown in good idea mate. i think i did ok and managed to get the look i was after.

And finished it of with a coat of paint, just need weathering now which i hope will give it a breeze of life.
